Maryanne Speiser, PA-C, RVT
We are pleased to welcome Maryanne Speiser to our office staff, as of October, 2012. Maryanne adds a wealth of expertise to our office – and will help relieve some of the heavy load Dr. Carabasi has been carrying for the past five years. She comes to us most recently from Temple University Hospital, where she worked in the Interventional Radiology Suite, performing venous ultrasounds and ablations. We were excited to have her join our team – as she was already proficient in much of what we do. Under Dr. Carabasi’s exacting tutelage, she has become his right hand, able to perform ablations, phlebectomies, and sclerotherapy to his high standard and proficiency, and under his supervision.
Maryanne received her Master’s Degree in Health Sciences with a certification as a Physician Assistant in 2003. From there she joined the Temple University system until we brought her on board. Prior to her time at Temple, she received her ultrasound training from the Ultrasound Diagnostic School in 1992, and vascular training to become a registered vascular tech in the vascular lab at Abington Hospital. From 1993-2001 she also worked in the vascular labs of the Mercy Health System (St. Agnes and Nazareth Hospitals)
Outside of work, Maryanne enjoys reading, has a passion for her animals, and is a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan. Please help us welcome Maryanne and say hello when you are in.
